Leo and the Alien Light

Leo was a little boy who loved looking at the stars before bedtime.

Every night, he sat by his window with his toy telescope.

One night, something strange happened.

A bright green light flashed in the backyard.

FLASH!

Leo ran outside quickly.

Hidden near the tree was a tiny spaceship no bigger than a toy car.

The spaceship door slowly opened.

CREEEAK.

Out stepped a tiny blue alien with three eyes and glowing shoes.

“Hello,” the alien squeaked nervously. “My name is Bobo.”

Leo’s eyes grew huge.

“A REAL alien?!”

Bobo nodded quickly.

“Earth is in danger!”

Suddenly—

BOOOOM!

Huge alien ships appeared in the sky.

The clouds turned purple.

People everywhere pointed upward in fear.

“The bad aliens want to take over Earth,” Bobo explained sadly.

Leo felt scared.

But he also wanted to help.

“Tell me what to do,” he said bravely.

Bobo handed Leo a glowing silver remote.

“Press the red button when the ships come close.”

The giant alien ships moved lower and lower toward the town.

The ground shook.

Windows rattled.

Leo took a deep breath.

Then—

CLICK!

He pressed the red button.

✨ WHOOSHHH! ✨

A giant golden shield suddenly appeared around Earth.

The alien ships bounced backward.

BEEP!
BEEP!
BEEP!

Their engines stopped working.

One by one, the bad aliens zoomed back into space.

Earth was safe.

Bobo cheered happily.

“You saved the world!”

Leo smiled proudly.

Before leaving, Bobo handed him a glowing star badge.

“For the bravest kid on Earth.”

Then the tiny spaceship flew into the night sky.

WHOOSHH!

The next morning, nobody believed Leo’s story.

But hidden under his pillow…

the glowing star badge still sparkled softly.
