The Tale of Man Mango and Man Apple – Bedtime Story

In a magical orchard where fruits were more than just fruits, Man Mango and Man Apple lived side by side.

Man Mango was round, golden, and always full of laughter. He loved sunshine and warm breezes. Man Apple, on the other hand, was red, crisp, and serious. He preferred cool air and perfect order.

Though they were neighbors, they could never agree on anything.

“Mangoes are the best fruit!” Man Mango would boast.

“Nonsense! Apples are far superior!” Man Apple would huff.

And so, they argued every day—until one fateful evening when dark clouds covered the sky.

A powerful storm was coming. The winds howled, and the orchard trees swayed dangerously. A mighty gust blew through the grove, shaking the trees so hard that both Man Mango and Man Apple tumbled to the ground!

Now, they were stuck in the mud.

“We have to get back to our trees before the storm gets worse!” cried Man Apple.

“But we’re too heavy to climb alone,” sighed Man Mango.

For the first time ever, they stopped arguing—and started thinking together.

“I have an idea!” said Man Mango. “If you lean on me and I lean on you, we can push each other up!”

It was risky, but they had no choice. Using all their strength, they balanced against each other and rolled up the hill. The wind pushed, the rain poured, but they didn’t stop. Finally, with one big push—THUMP!—Man Apple landed back in his tree, and PLONK!—Man Mango landed safely in his own.

As the storm calmed, they looked at each other and smiled.

“You know,” said Man Apple, “maybe mangoes aren’t so bad after all.”

“And apples are pretty great too,” Man Mango admitted.

From that day on, they still had their playful debates—but now, they were best friends who had learned the power of teamwork.
