The Magical Color Brush

Eight-year-old Leo loved to draw, but no matter how hard he tried, his colors never looked as bright as he imagined. One rainy afternoon, while exploring his grandmother’s attic, he discovered an old wooden paintbrush inside a dusty box. Its handle shimmered with rainbow-like sparkles, and a tiny note attached to it read:

“A stroke of magic, a world so bright,
Color your dreams, bring them to light!”

Curious, Leo dipped the brush into his paint set and swiped it across his sketchbook. To his astonishment, the colors glowed and danced on the page! The red turned into flickering flames, the blue rippled like ocean waves, and the green sprouted into tiny leaves.

Excited, Leo painted a butterfly—and in an instant, it flapped its wings and flew off the page! He laughed with delight, realizing that whatever he painted with the brush came to life.

That night, he painted a path of golden stars leading outside his window. As he stepped onto them, he found himself walking among the clouds. He met a friendly moonbeam, who whispered, “Use your gift wisely, young artist. Your colors bring joy, but they must never be used for greed.”

Leo promised to use the brush for good. He painted a garden of endless candy for his little sister, a rainbow bridge for lost puppies to find their homes, and a glowing lantern to help his best friend who was afraid of the dark.

One day, a greedy man heard about the magic brush and tried to steal it. But when he grabbed it and painted a mountain of gold, the brush refused to work. Instead, it wrote glowing words in the air:

“True magic comes from the heart, not from greed.”

The man ran away in shame, and Leo knew the brush had chosen him for a reason. From that day on, he used its magic to fill the world with wonder, kindness, and the most beautiful colors ever seen.

And so, every night, as he drifted off to sleep, he wondered—what magical thing should I paint next?
