In a big green forest, there lived a little squirrel named Nibbles. He loved to run, jump, and find the tastiest acorns. One day, while searching for food, he found the biggest, shiniest acorn he had ever seen!
“Oh wow! This will be my special acorn!” Nibbles said, holding it close. But just as he was about to take it home, he heard a soft cry.
He looked around and saw a tiny rabbit named Pip. Pip’s tummy was rumbling, and he looked very sad.
“What’s wrong, Pip?” Nibbles asked.
“I couldn’t find any food today,” Pip sniffled. “I’m so hungry!”
Nibbles looked at his big, shiny acorn. He really wanted to keep it, but he also wanted to help his friend. With a big smile, he handed the acorn to Pip.
“Here, you can have this!” Nibbles said.
Pip’s eyes lit up. “Really? Oh, thank you, Nibbles! You’re so kind!”
The next day, Pip found a whole bunch of fresh carrots and shared them with Nibbles.
From that day on, the two friends always helped each other, and their friendship grew stronger.
